I was sent the video below (the last one, at the end of my posting), and this is an example of manipulation and lack of knowledge.
Beyonce, who has only a few moments where she sings - her solo career was just a reign of playback - has an ugly static voice and little exercise. This wouldn't be a problem, because you learn how to articulate the notes, how to use the muscles, the throat, and create different nuances and shadows/tones.
Still, there are people, in every field, that only want, in a spoiled childish way, the status of being a representative of their profession. Beyonce has always wanted to be in the middle of the attention, pushing everyone aside, which is the main cause as to why every other black singer going back as early as 2000, very fast disappeared. The 2000s were a time when black female singers were dominating the pop field.
Even though it is not the best song, but this is an example of effortless singing and someone owning the spot
Beyonce tries to reach the notes, screams like a goat/cow, like a cat who got stepped on, with no understanding, no feeling. She just tries to prove that she "can" sing, while proving that she has no business in being in the...business music.
Beyonce wouldn't pass an entry as a choir singer, nomatter where. It is not enough to sing one note and try with all the goat cheese leftovers to force a vibrato. One of the reasons as to why her singing is so bad, is because she can't do a vibrato. She just cows around.
En Vogue was one of the best female groups, whatever their downfall was, the music they presented and the interpretation was /....DAMN!
You don't have to be german to "understand" Bach, Russian to play Rachmaninov and black to sing, but there is something about those black singers from the 2000s and their voices, that when it's good....it's like nothing else. Only Mariah was on that level.
Beyonce ruined not just pop. She ruined the cult of black people/singers.
The agenda of getting rid of everyone, just because the loser that she is, the spoiled hooker showing her asshole on stage,, cannot sing
Here, the group without Maxine. Already noticeable how important she was for the band, something is missing.
What I don't appreciate is that they stole the song and didn't credit it properly. The real song is Free your Mind and the Ass will follow.
Anyways, this is the death of pop/R^B/whatever you want to call it... music.
