look at the backup dancers. I see ONE asian gay guy in the back. Vietnamese maybe?
So - you start saying that EVERYONE is racist, but you don't have korean backup dancers.

I’m confused but why does that matter? Isn’t having diverse backup dancers a good thing especially since people like him are going western?

No. There is no "diversity". It's a made up destructive construct, to mix all nations and control them altogether. It's meant to make people not fight for their own, for their own country, to not have anything valuable, distinctive.

It's hypocrisy to claim racism and then be the one who is rejecting asian backup dancers.

How much diversity is required and what does this even means.
I am from the west. I don't want to see jews, blacks, romanians, bulgarians, turkish , or anything else from a south korean. I don't want to see chinese, japanease, vietnamese. I want south korean.
You have KOREAN DRAMAS. you don't see kanye west and adam sandler starring there.

This is a propaganda. It's about what's behind it.

Apparently the Hybe gang is so hungry for western validation & radio play/billboard/grammy awards, etc., so they place non-Asian dancers in their videos- I think the only time I see Asian dancers is in their TikTok challenges. But like @boti said, it still takes away from their "Koreaness".

For example, I liked JHope's Hope World & Jack in the Box, more than this new stuff he's releasing, because he doesn't sound genuine, he's just pushing himself to sound like you're everyday (creepy, nasty, etc) western artists, & it shows in his videos & the way he dances is creepy(er)...

One of the reasons most of us were introduced to & began listening to Kpop was because of it's unique sound & lyrics, although most of us didn't understand the language & was somewhat motivated to learn their language. But now, it seems the majority of Kpop songs are following the western template & they've lost their uniqueness, if they ever had any in the first place, since most of them are parroting western rap and R&B/pop artists.

As I read from a previous comment somewhere, Kpop really is a copycat of western pop with Korean lyrics behind it...it can only last so long...

And also, Kpop & its artists are beginning to reveal itself/themselves for what it really is now than ever, based on the validation & support it's gotten thus far, the Kpop machine continues to remain relevant based on who continues to put more gas & oil in it, even if it doesn't sound good.

Second coming of our Lord and savior will be here sooner 🤣🤣
I actually drank some green tea to stay up all and make the post because of your funny message.

The first thing that I noticed back then and pointed out immediately to it, was the fact that the entire song is a musical interpretation (the correct term) of Queen's "another one bites the dust".

Without being 100% identical, it is heavily similar.
From some wikipedia quotes:

Initial reports about "Butter" called it "a dance pop track brimming with the smooth yet charismatic charm of BTS".[3][4] Rolling Stone described it as "a pure, swaggering dance-pop celebration in the retro vein of Bruno Mars, with layers of Jam and Lewis-style synths", and RM told the outlet that the song "[is] very energetic" and "very summery".[5][6] Forbes called it an "infectious disco-pop track" similar to "Dynamite", with a "pulsating, bass-heavy beat and delectable chorus".[7] Following its release, "Butter" was categorized as a 1980s[8] and 1990s-influenced[9] dance-pop[10] and EDM[11] song with elements of pop rap.[11][12] The song is in 4 4 common time in the key of A-flat major with a tempo of 110 beats per minute. BTS's vocal range span from A♭3 to E♭5.[13]

The correct thing to do would have been in this case to at least make it as a half of the song in the description and write something like : BTS performing Queen's "another one bites the dust" with a own interpretation called "butter".
They did not do so.
Side note - this would actually be the case for almost everyone in the music industry, since they steal other people's work and label it with their name, so that they don't come up as a cover band. "The industry today is a bad bad cover band without paying for copyrights"
It is NOT a BTS song, it is a song that has brought millions in copyright revenues for the jews listed as songwriters and for the label. Not BTS. But tell this a billion times to a fan, they wouldn't want to accept the harm that they are doing.

Ironic is the fact that the guy acting like there's no other like him and a rapper, Yoongi, is actually saying a text that someone else wrote for him.

As you can see, everything BTS does goes in the pockets of someone else. This is what this part means: Butter lyrics ©
It means, that the copyrights from the lyrics goes to the people/companies listed. I am surprised about how many they are.

It was the time when Jungkook's face lifts and surgical interventions, as well as his drug use/abuse started to become visible. First due to the weird, much to tightened eyes and stiff face, as well as his weird demeanour and behaviour. He just looks like a mad cow.
It was the video where Taehyung is wearing an awful muscle shirt and some skirt with pants and, as always, thinking that he's manly with muscles.

It was one of the worst videos and styling, with Jimin being heavily mummified into some weird barbie doll puppet, the girl version with lesbian haircut.

This was BTS about one year earlier

They were wearing mostly ladie's clothes and jewish products, with Taheyung's ugly hat being made by a gay jewish ukranian.
Their outfits weren't made to suit the video or them, they were made to push gayness, gender dysphoria, and to make more money for the jews, by fans buying until they were out of stock their products.
The only one whose outfit fits and I like how it looks on him, is Hoseok with his white suit, but the yellow hair colour makes him look weird and gay.

What the videos have in common, is that with the exception of Jungkook who looked better in Dynamite, none of them look like dancers, like a singer, like anyone who should have a certain presence in a video, on a stange, during a concert, etc.
They have used the same facial expression for a long time now and it's not just them, it goes for the other kpooopers as well, with BTS is more difficult to handle because they were all over the place all the time, with the same face and gay sick outfits.
They promote the propaganda of "fluidity" and "gender dysphoria" in this video, more than in the others.

The choreography had that ...I don't even know what to call it..."move" ? of kissing the hand, of no logic. As well as that chicken move with the finger on the lips when they say "talk" is cheap.
The video ending with Hoseok closing the eyes when sucking on a butter piece is...a...masterpiece.

About the lyrics - I don't think that the reference "butter' is that bad. The problem is the way they look, the way they move, what they do. It's a kitsch song with kitsch lyrics, and it could have been much better with...well, with everything about BTS different. Clothes, makeup, instrumental background.

For example "pink" by aerosmith and it's funny how the brain works, because Jin singing/screaming
Ain’t no other
That can sweep you up like a robber
Straight up, I got ya
Makin’ you fall like that
Break it down

reminded me of something I couldn't get out of my head and now I remembered - it's from the "pink" lyrics.
"I... want to be your lover
I... want to wrap you in rubber
As pink as the sheets that we lay on
'Cause pink, it's my favorite crayon, yeah
"

Now this is how it’s done. I heard about butter being a copy from a song but never really saw anyone investigate it. Does anyone know why jk is drinking milk in the start of dynamite?

I think that is some sexual reference / vaginal secretion. See Milkshake by kelis, some videos of Britney spears and actually others as well.
