This reminds me of a story involving Jared Leto and his band mates. Despite of the fact, that the story was very public (about 10 years ago or so), I could't find anything about it on a quick google search and while searching for this story, I discovered that some of the fan pages of girls claiming that Jared Leto had sex with them while underage and gave them sexual transmitted diseases - girls who went public with their stories - are now gone.
One of the band members asked fans for helping a family member who was in need of an organ transplant. One girl desperate enough gave her organ (presumably liver) away. Afterwards she went public over how the band blocked her and they went ahead and ignored her.

yes, and at no time did he ever got better. With him it just went worse and worse. He had one or two good songs and the rest is bullshit.
He does look good.
